"Architectural Furniture" is a term that we at Green Barn have invented to categorize certain types of structures that don't seem to fit in any category. Architectural Furniture is furniture- but for some unique use- usually (but not always) associated with commercial applications. Below are a couple of examples...

This is a 37 foot (Yes- I said foot!) long counter built for a diner in Branson, Missouri. It was designed in collaberation with the owners to fit their theme. The finish is a "formica" type product on the two tops and the sheer vertical faces are ceramic tile. Construction of this type has to be built "on site".

Normally we do wood and wood-products... But here is a great example of a custom non-wood book case. It is made of synthetic columns and glass shelves. The photo does not do it justice-- It's gorgeous!

Scale in this photo is misleading. The commercial television shelf is twelve feet long, approximately 2 feet tall and 30 inches deep. It was designed by us to be in keeping with the diner decor and yet take six ugly television sets and make them into a unique piece of furniture. We thin it was very successful on both points.

As you can see we at Green Barn are very versatile in creating exactly what you need We take pride in our designs and our craftsmanship. The name implies woodworking- but we do much more. We can utilize the newest man made materials as well as such timeless materials such as metal and glass. If someone has told you it can't be done-- we're the people to do it for you!
